Here at
Taisho Australian Shepherds, we
pride ourselves in the creation
of the best Australian Shepherds
possible. Conformation to ASCA
& AKC breed standards is the
primary goal. However,
temperament will never be
sacrificed for conformation.
Most dogs
are titled at both the front and back of
the registered name: Conformation
champions and Obedience or Agility
titles.
Puppies are
available on occasion. All dogs are clear
of congenital eye defects and hip
dysplasia. All puppies are in home
raised.
Taisho was
established in 1982 and started off with
winning a third place in a puppy class. I
was hooked !!!
I have titled dogs
in Conformation, Obedience, Herding, and
Agility from the following organizations:
ASCA, AKC, FCI, FCM, NADAC, and IABKC.

I am an ASCA
Obedience Judge and have recently
completed the requirements as an ASCA
Breeder Judge.
Taisho has recently reached ASCA Kennel Hall
of Fame status for producing aussies that excel in ALL areas of competition! We
would like to recognize those who have
helped us achieve that goal.
Even though show
homes are wonderful, we strive to place
stock in the best possible situation.
Where the dog is a companion first,
performance dog second.
